Colleen Hoyne will be joining the Birmingham team as the principal of Pembroke this fall. Her teaching career began in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where she taught 6th grade, 7th grade, and was an instructional coach. She then served as an associate principal at Mukwonago High School for three years in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Mrs. Hoyne then became the principal of Eagleville Elementary Charter School and the 4K Coordinator for the Mukwonago Area School District for four years.

Mrs. Hoyne received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Carroll University. Colleen and her husband have two young boys, Noah and Carter. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, playing sports, traveling, and reading.
